Hans Sandgren Jakobsen

Hans Sandgren Jakobsen is one of the most influential furniture designers and has won the iF Design Gold Award and Reddot Award, two of the most prestigious design awards in the world. He graduated from The Danish Design School in 1990, which is known as one of the most prestigious design schools in Europe.

He is a permanent member of the Expert Committee of DesignNævnet and a member of the Grants Committee for Arts and Craft of Danish Art Foundation for the period of 2020-2024. He was also a member of the Jury for The International Furniture Design Competion in Asahikawa, Japan, in 2002 and 2005. Currently, he is a senior designer in the furniture industry.
