After submitting the registration, if the registration fee has already been paid, it can be applied for a refund before the deadline of the award. If the entry has already entered the judging stage, it is no longer possible to apply for a refund.
The French Design Award presumes that every submission is a unique creation and entrants possess all requisite rights either by submitting their own work or by obtaining consent from clients or other stakeholders. Should an entrant submit a project without the necessary rights, they will be deemed ineligible for the French Design Award and will not be held accountable for any copyright violations.
All copyrights and associated rights are retained by the entrant. Entrants acknowledge and accept that any work submitted to the competition by The French Design Award and its media affiliates is intended solely for promotional activities related to the competition, which may include exhibitions, print, and digital media that are in direct connection with the competition.
Submitting entries on time and paying the entry fee as outlined here ensures that the work of entrants will be evaluated and considered for accolades. The French Design Award provides no additional guarantees or warranties and hereby explicitly renounces all implied warranties.
In the case of receiving an award, the French Design Award has full discretion over how and when to announce the nominations and awards. Participants are aware that not all awards may be presented or declared in the same manner or format.
